Heading to the pages of our new website are the excellent chemical free futon bed mattresses from the CottonSafe and Pure Choice ranges in a selection of sizes and comfort types.
We have chosen to run with these new ranges as we believe that our customers like to make their own informed choices and decide what they feel about the unusual UK regulations on Fire Retardant treatments.
The CottonSafe range utilises a cover fabric that is a woven blend of organic cotton and wool, then quilted to a layer of pure lambswool, giving an inherently fire retardant cover fabric without the need for the chemical treatments associated with UK regulations. These mattresses are then filled with a choice of cotton-rich traditional futon-style fillings for a firm sleep or combined with a mini-pocket sprung ‘core’ for a more medium feel mattress.
The new Pure Choice range brings more conventional deep pocket sprung bed mattresses to our range. Again a fire retardant free polyester cover fabric is quilted to a pure lambswool layer for an inherent fire retardant cover fabric and the mattress is filled with deep pocket springs (858 on the double size) and wrapped in our cotton-rich filling giving a medium comfort feel to the mattress.
