Scandi Single Futon Chair Bed

Description

The Scandi Single Futon Chair Bed is made with the same quality as the larger Scandi Sofa, now just in a single size.

It features a classic A-frame, similar to traditional futons, and is constructed from FSC redwood pine. The wood is cut and planed in Cornwall, before being assembled at our workshop in Plymouth. The frames design makes conversion from a chair to a bed really simple, whilst keeping the classic futon look. All the pieces are neatly attached together, using an assembly jog to ensure everything is tidy.

The Scandi frame is then combined also incorporates one of our 'tri fold' futon mattresses, which bends onto the frame in the typical 'S' shape associated with this classic style. The mattress is made with layers of pure lambswool and cotton-felt, which gives a medium feel futon, perfect for regular use. You can then choose your covering fabric from our selection of standard cotton drill fabrics. Like the frame, the mattress is also made in our workshop in Plymouth.

All in all the Scandi is a great choice if you are looking for a good quality, strong single futon, perfect for regular use that will keep its place in your home for many years.
